J. Cole @ SOBs (03-30-10)

J. Cole shut SOBs down last night. This was legendary show on par with Kanye's SOBs show in 2003. It was definitely hot to see so many of his peers come out in support like Asher Roth, Nipsey Hussle, Reflection Eternal, Pill, XV and Young Chris. Hip-hop is alive and well, and J. Cole proved it last night. Salute. There are more videos I took, you can see them all on itsthewood.com....

Welcome Back

Here's another joint off Hurricane Season, in honor of the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels' awesome match tonight at Wrestlemania. Hurricane Season is coming soon, get your mind right...

March Madness

One of my favorite times of the year, March Madness. I got my bracket made. Ya can check it out here. I got Kansas, Syracuse, Kentucky and Louisville in the Final Four. Yeah, reaching, I know, but I like my man Edgar Sosa, Dominican and he be balling up at Dyckman. I got Kansas beating Kentucky in the chip, I wanted to put West Virginia, but I trust in the John Wall dance. I got this this year, I know it. Let's go. Thanks Kansas and Louisville. Appreciate it.

Creativity By Kanye West

Hip-Hop For Haiti

Here's what I managed to record at the show last night, in that zoo that was SOBs. I missed Joey's performance because I had to leave early, but Styles and Joell shut the shit down while I was there.

I Am....

Concert Hopping...

I'm out concert hoppin' this month lol. I'll be at the Hip Hop for Haiti concert tomorrow, which is going to have Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Cormega, and Styles P amongst others. I heard Nas is a special guest too, which is cool since I've never seen him in person. I'm also going to the J. Cole Hot 97 concert later this month, which is awesome, cause he's in my top 5 right now. This month should be good. The flyers are below, just in case ya wanna cop your tickets asap!

P.S: I just found out Talib Kweli and Immortal Technique are going to perform as well and Lord Finesse is going to be on the 1s and 2s. Hip-hop wins...

Over Again

Me and Rob go off on Drake's new single. RIP this beat, I don't think ya gonna wanna hear any other version after this....

"Squeeze yo' clip, hit the right one. Pass that weed, I got to light one. All them niggaz I got to fight one, all them hoes I got to like one.

One of hip-hop's greatest passed away on this day 13 years ago. He left a dent in the hip-hop community like no one has before and we owe a lot to him. Thank you Biggie.

"We'll always love Big Poppa"

Hurricane Season Is Coming....

Ape For The Cake Trailer

Here's the trailer for Rich-P's Ape For The Cake, which is also my first video cameo. I laughed at myself. The video is sick though.

Greatest. Dunk. Ever.

Shawn Kemp was a fuckin' G. Where's he at now? I heard he got like 25 kids. "Always strapped, when we hit the club...."
